Scott Gray
I've been writing my fantasy novel, “The Heavy Hand of Fate,” for several years. My book baby has matured to the point where I’m ready to look for an agent. My novel is comprised of multiple point-of-view characters that are as complex as they are diverse. The novel contains both a unique physics-based magic system and a softer prophetic magic system that has been regulated into a religion. Things I would like to discuss at the conference are strategies for finding a great agent, magic systems and worldbuilding, and how to create compelling characters that stay with readers long after they have put the book down.
