Rosa Sanchez

Boston, Massachusetts
My passion is to write short stories!
I finished high school and college in Puerto Rico but was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. I had traveled internationally to many places: Latin America, Asia, Europe, and Australia. I have been living in the US for more than 36 years in different cities such as Los Angeles, New York, Boston, and Miami Beach.
I graduated from the Community Fellows Program at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and had established a solid cultural relationship between the artist community and the media. After living in LA for more than 10 years with my former husband, an Emmy awarded PBS documentary director, I decided to take my life into my own hands and moved back to Boston where I worked as a high school teacher for Boston Public Schools and opened Asor Art Gallery in Brookline.
Asor Art Gallery was featured in articles in the Boston Globe and many others newspapers and magazines in Boston. I love painting but I also love to write and as a writer, one of my stories was adapted for Cuban TV in Havana.
I am a woman of ideas, passionate about new and defiant projects, which will put forward my creative potential. Writing short stories is truly my passion!
