I am a freelance writer and have been published in magazines such as the New Old House Journal, Period Homes, and North Shore Home. I expect to be published in the Spring 2019 issue of Connecticut History Review with an article on an 18th century woman from Connecticut. The article recounts her short-lived life including her mental breakdown during the siege of Boston. Themes include: women's history, the American Revolution, mental illness, family, religion, culture, and Connecticut. My goal is to use my experience writing the long scholarly article into a deeper thesis that probes the fascinating 18th century colonial world in New England.
