Beverly has spent over three decades at Delacorte/Dell/Bantam/Doubleday/Random House, acquiring and editing a long list of middle grade and YA #1 bestsellers. Her authors include Judy Blume, Louis Sachar, E. Lockhart, Marisha Pessl, Sophie Kinsella, Adeline Yen Mah, Veronica Chambers, Bryan Stevenson and many other well-known and debut authors. Horowitz has been a longtime advocate of First Amendment rights and and has worked against censorship.
