Adriana Grant’s poetry has appeared in Caketrain Journal, Diagram, LIT, Peaches & Bats, and Shampoo Poetry. Her work is featured in two books, Wanting Is Easier Than Having by Debra Baxter (Publication Studio) and Poetry on Wheels: An Anthology of King County’s Poetry on Buses Program 1997-2005 (Floating Bridge Press).
Grant won third prize in 3rd bed‘s First Annual Prize for Poetry and Fiction, selected by Rosmarie and Keith Waldrop. Washington State’s Artist Trust has twice awarded grants in support of her writing (2008 and 2005).
Adriana Grant grew up in small-town New Hampshire, lived in Seattle for many years, and, in early 2012, moved to Somerville, Massachusetts with her sailing-obsessed husband, Peter Mumford.
