A Chicago native, Angie writes both fiction and nonfiction and earned her MFA from Queens University in Charlotte. She’s the Book Reviews Editor for Fifth Wednesday Journal, the Managing Editor for Linden Avenue Literary Journal, and a Fellow of the Kimbilio Center for African American fiction. Angie's short stories and essays have appeared in Blood Orange Review, Hippocampus Magazine, and fwriction: review. She and her husband, Eric, are parents of three children.
